Bio and Affiliation 

Ian James (b. 1981 Cincinnati, OH) is an artist primarily working in photography who lives and works in Los Angeles. He has participated in exhibitions at Five Car Garage (LA), The Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art, the UNLV Barrick Museum, Roberts Projects (LA), vacancy Los Angeles, REDCAT (LA), Holiday Forever (Jackson, WY), and was an artist in residence at SÍM in Reykjavik, Iceland and the The Wassaic Project (Wassaic, NY). He recently released the artist book The 13:20 Movement with The Fulcrum Press and has an upcoming solo project at Hernando’s Hideaway (Miami) and The Fulcrum (LA). He teaches within the Fine Arts Department at Otis College of Art & Design, the Graduate Art Department at Art Center, and the Visual Arts & Media Studies Department at Pasadena City College.
