Bio/Affiliation: 

Education and teaching: MFA from UCLA in playwriting and held teaching positions at CalArts, UCLA, LMU, University of Redlands and Otis College.

Laurel Ollstein is an award-winning writer, director and teacher. Her plays have been produced across the United States winning awards such as best over all production in the Midtown International Theatre Festival in New York City and nominated for best solo show at the LA Weekly Awards. Her work has been featured in festivals from New York to Singapore. She regularly works with new play development and productions in Los Angeles and New York.

Ollstein also writes essays, screenplays and for television; directs plays; and serves as an adjunct professor for several universities.
