Bio and Affiliation

Maggie is an Assistant Professor in Liberal Arts & Sciences and the Creative Writing Minor Area Head. Her curriculum considers intersections between improvisation, performance, and the creative process. She also teaches storytelling as a means to process the effects of climate change. Maggie is Co-Chair of the Environmental Steering Council and Faculty Advisor for the Otis Book Club.  She writes young adult fiction and satire and her cli-fi rom-com is being published in 2026 by 12 Willows Press.
