Bio/Affiliation: 

Michael has been working as professional Motion Graphics Designer in the advertising/entertainment industry for over 28 years. Before Michael discovered Motion Graphics, he was a graphic designer working in the surf/skate industry then as an advertising agency Art Director. Some of his staff positions include: Sr. Designer/Animator at the CBS Network and Art Director at the WB Network. Some of his long-term freelance positions include: Lead Designer at the Ant Farm, Pittard/Sullivan and Motion Graphics Designer CBS All-Access. His Motion Graphics work has earned multiple BDA awards. Michael says his goal is to train and inspire the next generation of Motion Graphics Designers. In addition to teaching Motion Design at Otis, his teaching experience includes: Santa Monica College and The American Film Institute. He is also passionate about having fun outdoors. On the weekends he works for REI as a Guide where he leads groups on backpacking trips on Catalina Island.
