Bio/Affiliation

Sam J Chon is a Korean American born in the Los Angeles valley, a veteran of the Marine Corps, and now a visual development artist for the film, game, and animation industries. Since graduating from Otis College of Art and Design in 2018, Sam has worked on multiple AAA game titles, films, VR experiences, and animated TV shows. Recent projects include Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Call of Duty: Cold War, Justin Bieber's latest VR concert, The Witchlands Series by The Jim Henson Company, and ARK: The Animated Series. He currently is featured in Shoutout LA, a Voyage Group of Magazines, and their flagship publication, VoyageLA. His priority in concept art is to create magical worlds and story moments that inspire people through visuals of different cultures, empathy, and moments in life of what if and what could be.
