Bio/Affiliation

Sam J Chon is a Korean American born in the Los Angeles valley, a veteran of the Marine Corps, and now a visual development artist for the film, game, and animation industries. Since graduating from Otis College of Art and Design in 2018, Sam has worked on multiple AAA game titles, films, VR experiences,  Judging art competitions, and animated TV shows. 

Currently a Visual Development Artist at Netflix Animation.

Past projects include the Minecraft Animated TV series, Invincible, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Call of Duty: Cold War, and much more.

His priority in concept art is to create magical worlds and story moments that inspire people through visuals of different cultures, empathy, and moments in life of what if and what could be.
