Bio
Stephanie Lane Gage is an LA-based artist, designer, and writer. Originally from Lawrence, Kansas, she received her BFA in printmaking from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 2015, and her MFA in graphic design from CalArts in 2023. In 2015 she founded Martian Press—a Risograph-based zine-publishing press—which she continues to run today. She also currently co-runs Saturated Grey—a Los Angeles graphic design studio—which she formed in 2023 with a fellow member of her CalArts cohort. In her personal artwork, she integrates graphic design, research, and writing with a multitude of artistic mediums to explore utopianism and speculative futures.
