Bio/Affiliation

Ursula Burton is a writer/director, actor, and founder of FIVE SISTERS PRODUCTIONS. She has produced features including LETTING GO OF GOD, JUST FRIENDS, MANNA FROM HEAVEN, TEMPS, and KINGS, QUEENS & IN-BETWEENS, and directed commercials, PSAs, and shorts, including the Faces of Ford campaign, “Mamas for Obama” spots, the campaign for the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking, the HALF THE HISTORY series, and the Emmy Qualifying short-form series, OLD GUY. She wrote/directed WE TREAT THEM THE SAME, EXPIRATION DATE, A FUTURE WISH, CREATIVES ON CREATIVITY, and THE HAPPIEST DAY OF HIS LIFE, which won MTV's LOGO Channel’s Viewer's Choice Award and qualified for the Academy Awards. She has over 60 acting credits, including recurring roles on THE OFFICE, GREY’S ANATOMY, HART OF DIXIE, RAKE, and BBC’s MY FAMILY. A graduate of Yale University, Burton is a Professor of Practice at Otis College of Art and Design.
