These are hanging on the wall to form a group of overlapping planes that are in parts transparent, translucent, and opaque. The viewer looks at—and through—the paintings, which display shifting surfaces, colors, and textures reflecting light and time.

Sua Kim is a Fine Artist whose creative practice is inspired by her lived experiences. As a painter, she uses color to create the expressive visual language she blends with abstract forms to capture the essence of her journey living in Los Angeles as an international student. Born in 2000 in South Korea, Sua Kim grew up in Gyeonggi-do and has been living in Los Angeles since 2021 where she studies Fine Arts Painting at Otis College of Art and Design.

This piece serves as a homage to my favorite game director, Hidetaka Miyazaki. It explores the expansive role of a game director in the creation of a monumental game. Miyazaki is depicted wielding the iconic Great Moon Sword, symbolizing his leadership and creative vision in pushing the boundaries of game development.

The Knight With the Shining Armour is a homage to piece to Dark Soul 3, a game the that gave me inspiration, and made the artist that i am today.
The NUGGIES
This artwork is a tribute to my friend's beloved pet chicken, affectionately named Nuggy. Additionally, it incorporates a whimsical nod to an inside joke involving a friend's supposed penchant for chicken smoothies. Through playful imagery and a humorous "BAWK," the piece captures the essence of friendship and shared laughter.

Trevor Coopersmith (b. 1994 San Diego, CA) creates painted objects, installations and organic wall-sculptures utilizing found and mixed media that emphasize a deeper emotional connection to nature. Trevor holds a BFA from University of California, Santa Barbara and is a MFA candidate at Otis College of Art & Design. Coopersmith has shown at bG Gallery, Dorado 806 Projects, IDOLWILD and the Palos Verdes Art Center (all in Los Angeles, CA). Coopersmith has also shown at the California Nature Art Museum in Solvang, CA and has a forthcoming solo exhibition at Avenue 50 Studios (Los Angeles). His work has been published in Space on Space Magazine and in Hyperallergic. Trevor has participated in two residencies (College Station, TX and Port Austin, MI) and founded the Urban Art Scholarship Foundation which funds art education and social practice. He is currently based in Los Angeles, CA.
