Yes. As long as you complete your requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent before the program begins and are at least 18 years old.

You do not need any experience to apply. Just a passion and interest to work in the entertainment marketing industry.

No, but you must be able to attend in-person classes on the Otis College of Art and Design campus for the full duration of the program as a full-time student, with courses throughout the day, Monday - Friday and as an apprentice, with an on-site work commitment throughout the day, Monday - Friday.

Yes, absolutely. If you are looking to change direction, you can participate. You must, however, be willing to attend this program full-time throughout its duration.

You must be at least 18 years of age. We want to provide this opportunity to anyone who meets the criteria, whether you are just starting your career journey or are coming from a completely different industry and want to make a career change.

The format of the certificate program is a combination of in-person and online instruction, 14 months in-person at Otis College of Art and Design, and six months at a selected agency partner in Los Angeles in-person as a paid apprentice.

You will be a full-time student for the full duration of the 14-month certificate program, with scheduled holiday breaks.. You will be required to attend day time classes in-person during that time. Once you complete that portion of the program, you will be placed at a Netflix creative agency, where you will have a 6-month, full-time, paid apprenticeship.

While you will be asked to indicate your preferred track in the application, you are not required to select your specific track before you begin the program. You will learn more about each track when you start the program and will have an opportunity to make an informed decision after you begin.

This is a highly intensive certificate program that is meant to prepare you for a career in the Entertainment Marketing Industry.

You will be expected to:

  1. Attend and participate in your daily classes
  2. Submit assignments and projects on time
  3. Attend any scheduled programs or events.
  4. Work the full 6-month period of your paid apprenticeship
  5. Meet with your mentor regularly (in-person or virtually)
  6. Meet with your advisors regularly.
