Class Marshals

Class Marshals play a vital role in the Commencement Committee, serving as the student voice in planning meetings and ensuring their classmates stay informed about Commencement details. They are recognized for their contributions at the Student Awards Ceremony, on the Commencement website, and in the official Commencement program.

Each year, academic department chairs select a Class Marshal—a graduating student who exemplifies exceptional leadership, communication skills, and a deep connection with both peers and faculty. These students go above and beyond to foster a strong sense of community within their departments.

On this page, we proudly celebrate our 2026 Class Marshals, chosen for their outstanding leadership and spirit. The Class Marshal tradition holds special significance for the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership and Otis College of Art and Design, reflecting our commitment to recognizing students who make a meaningful impact. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to these exceptional individuals for their dedication, passion, and invaluable contributions to their departments and the Otis community.
