Active Student Organizations

Otis Studio Ghibli Club: A fun and relaxing club where you learn about all things Ghibli!

Women In Animation: The mission of Women in Animation is not just a statement, but a call to action for those wanting to go into the industry or simply have a love for animation.

Otis Kpop Club: Our mission is to spread a healthy and happy community that has a similar liking to K-pop.

Acting For Animators: The mission of AFA is to use acting and improve activities to help animators and other artists in their own work as storytellers.

Otis LARP Club: The LARP club's mission is to create a space where members can play and act as characters that they would otherwise not be able to within the confines of a narrative or scenario!

Disabled Students Union: Our mission is to connect, support, and advocate for Disabled students at Otis College of Art and Design.

Otis Black Student Union: Black Student Union is defined as an organization that gives Black students opportunities to find their voice as Black Creatives and advocate for a safe space to express their culture.

Otis Book Club: The mission of Otis Book Club is to read and discuss books.

Students Against Genocide: Uniting student advocates & activists to create accessibility to engage in anti-genocide movements.

Original Character Club: For like-minded individuals to have fun creating and sharing original characters with one another and honing their art and writing skills.

Impactful Artistry: Rotaract Club: The mission of Impactful Artistry: Rotaract Club (IARC) is to offer students a platform for nurturing their professional identities and skills.

Otis Walking League: The mission of the Otis Walking League (O.W.L.) is to encourage safe and healthy physical activity among students through exercise and group walking events.

Storyboard Club: The mission of Otis Storyboard Club is to foster lasting relationships between students, develop storyboarding skills, and connect current students to their alumni network.

Otis Collectors Club: The mission of Otis Collectors Club is to bring together enthusiasts who love discovering, collecting, and trading unique treasures.

Otis Volleyball Club: The mission of Otis Volleyball Club is to foster a community for anyone interested in volleyball and to cultivate that interest without the pressures of a competitive sports environment.

Otis Christian Creators Club: Our mission is to create a community of Christians to fellowship in our faith as artists.

Toys N' Toons: The mission of Toys N’ Toons is to explore and advance knowledge on the transmedial relationship of toys in media.

Otis Pony Club: Our mission as the official Otis Pony Club is to bring together members of our Otis community who share a love for all things My Little Pony!

Otis J-pop Club: Our mission is to unite Jpop lovers from around campus to share in fun activities and Japanese culture, specifically through music.

Horror Movie Club: The mission of Horror Movie Club is to celebrate and appreciate horror movies, to foster a fun and supportive environment for students to watch horror, and to explore the deeper importance of the art form/genre.

Cheese Monger Club: The mission of the Cheese Monger Club is to create a fun, safe space for socializing through a shared love of cheese.

MultiMedia Club: The mission of MultiMedia Club is to encourage growth, personally, creatively, and professionally by creating a community centered around goal setting and developing sustainable creative mindsets!

Musical Moreporks: Music and visual arts intersect at many more avenues than we expect.

Otis Latin Coalition for Leadership Development Club: Dedicates its time and effort to empower LatinX Students and allies alike, to step out of their comfort zones, find their voice, question societal norms and cultivate the skills needed to become confident leaders in society.

Parallax: The mission of Parallax is to create an inclusive space for the exploration of photography in its various forms.

IMPACT: IMPACT is a Special Interest Community embedded within Otis Residence Life and Housing. Within the span of a full academic year, IMPACT will support Otis students with the transition to college.

AD&D (Art, Dice, and Dragons): To act as a platform for people interested in tabletop games and other board games to meetup and form groups to play.

While some student organizations focus on the experiences of students with particular identities, Otis student organizations are open to all currently enrolled students. Student organizations are currently re-registering for the upcoming academic year; as a result, this list may be updated.
