Sick Pay
All full-time faculty and staff are eligible to accrue paid sick leave. Accruals begin upon employment.
- 3.75 hours per pay period (1 day per month)
- 90 hours maximum accrual (12 days)
All part-time faculty and staff will be credited with 48 hours of annual paid sick leave. The sick leave balance will reset to 48 hours on July 1st each year.
Holiday Pay
Otis College observes the following paid holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Jr., Day
- Presidents’ Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- Thanksgiving Friday
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
Year-end Closure—The College is also closed for Winter Break. Each year the closure dates will be announced and may vary depending on the calendar.
