Welcome to the Battlefield - Brain Freeze Blast Welcome to the chillingly sweet world of Brain Freeze Blast! This environment piece depicts the world that the team of ice cream themed explorers inhabit as they collect cherries and battle it out using their unique ice cream flavor abilities. When creating this piece, I focused on creating a world that had a multitude of larger-than-life elements along with having a focus on different places for players to explore within the game as they create different strategies to become the best of the best!Some images may be cropped. Tea House Zen For this environment, I decided to create a larger-than-life version of a Japanese tea house that doubles as a family's home. Within this piece I wanted to include aspects of duplex living, along with what growing your own tea components looks like. From day until night, this shop is always full of customers, which is due in no small part to the ginormous tea kettle fountain on top of the building that can be seen from miles away.

A Nostalgic Trip This piece depicts an old, abandoned house, once inhabited by a family, however, after years of neglect, the house has begun to deteriorate to am unlivable condition. I was inspired by the sense of nostalgia we all have for our old house, our old toys, and the sense of wanting to return to these simpler times. I strove to create an environment in which characters could realistically walk around in and explore while giving players both a feeling of familiarity and suspense.

In The Depths This piece was created as a background for a modern fantasy RPG I made with some of my peers. They requested a sewer environment with room for characters to stand on opposite sides of one another as they face off with an eerie look.

V5's Main Stage This depicts a concert stage design I was tasked to create for my Visual Language class. For this group project we were asked to pick a theme and create a band with its members all fitting a theme we decided. The theme of our band had a Japanese street racing aesthetic in which I replicated throughout the overall design of their main stage that they perform on.

The Scoop Squad - Brain Freeze Blast This team of explorers are on an expedition to collect more cherries than one another as they battle it out using their individual unique ice cream abilities. Using their courage (and their ice cream canons) these guys are all fighting to have the best-looking ice cream sundae, but that title can only go to the one that collects the most cherries!

The Ice Cream Canon - Brain Freeze Blast This is the Ice Cream Canon that the Scoop Squad members use to battle it out in the world of Brain Freeze Blast! This backpack has the components and ingredients inside of it to create ice cream, which after being mixed, goes into the canon and after being pumped back launches out a big scoop powered up ice cream!

Hello! My name's Ayden, and as much fun as it was living in Alaska, after graduating
high school, I wanted to challenge my art skills by coming to Cali. Being at Otis
and working in student leadership, I learned that collaborating with new people and
combining ideas is inspiring. From school dances, game tournaments, costume contests,
and working with friends to create more memorable experiences, this has been an incredible
adventure and goes hand in hand with my passion towards game creation!
