There’s something so alluring about the unloved patches in the quilt of a city; unrefined
undersides of freeways, vacant lots, and vestigial doors. Some find their way in and
leave their mark with a rattlecan. I prefer to take the whole thing with me.
There are two pleasures in scale modelling;
The pleasure of replicating is in its truth. It is what it is because that is what
it is.
The pleasure of looking at the replication is figuring out why. Why this place? Why
this way? Why now?
