An illustrative piece of a character in their element. This is Calliope, a princess from ancient Greece who rules over the port of Epysthenes. While her father and royal court are greedy beast trappers, she has firm beliefs that such beasts should roam free and live as humans do. While she is only heard stories of beastly abuse, it was not until she came across Pavlina, a young harpy child who lost half her clan to humans. Now that she has real proof of such cruelty, she will stop at nothing to make sure mythical creatures and humans live in peace.

This digital illustration was made using Procreate and Adobe Photoshop. In the scene, there are these “Lumberdogs”, hybrids of adorable dogs and hardworking lumberjacks. Each pooch has its own unique lumberjack tool of choice as they hack and saw to create a wonderful wooden sculpture.

Various characters that were made based off of the Precious Moments brand, who is known for cute ceramic figurines but they rarely show diversity since many of their figurines are blonde and white. These characters were based off of the Halloween 2023 collection and show children with different races, backgrounds, and gender identities. All while still keeping the cute and wholesome style of the Precious Moments brand.
