My painting practice is expressed through a daily effort in front of the canvas. With monastic rigor, I seek contact with reality, to tame the world through painting and impasto. My compositions are nourished by daily experiences, the faces of my loved ones, intimate objects, and places. I try to explore fantastical avenues of reality, micro-narratives that overlap with the world, maintaining a diegetic tension. A woman embracing a cactus, a rave on the brink of war.
