"How it's made" (2024) is work that explores my growth as an artist, combining the skills of photography and fashion design and highlighting the craft of well - how it was made. It is a piece that led me to delve into the art of cyanotype printmaking and figuring how I can transcend the craft of photography in making something more than a print on paper. The work also explores this relation between manmade vs. nature within the methods of how I made the prints, using the sun vs. a UV table, and in the presentation of the installation. "Aftermath" (2025) is a piece that displays fragments of what once was part of the Topanga Canyon and remains of the flora around Sullivan Canyon Park. As I like to explore new areas of nature I’ve never ventured before, I documented my hike in the Topanga Canyon last November as well as the outskirts of the neighborhoods in the Pacific Palisades and Brentwood following the January fires. Horizontal strips display what once was, vertical strips display what currently is, woven together as a body of the same nature.

I am a photographer and designer based in Los Angeles, and much of my practice has
been focused on the craft of cyanotype printmaking, fascinated with the idea that
it is a method of photography that requires no need for a camera. I explore ways of
altering the physicality of the prints into something that is more than a traditional
two-dimensional photographic print on paper using skills I have acquired from the
art of fashion design.
