Iris Park
Up cycling wedding dress project done during Junior Year, using dead stock/discontinued wedding dresses given to us by the mentor Maggie Sottero. This project was inspired by nature elements which was tree bark, mushroom and morning dew. Our project direction was a wedding in an enchanted forest, and I tried my best to capture the essence of that through the fabric treatments. Some images may be cropped. BFA Fashion Design
A designer who designs with intent to make individuals feel beautiful yet comfortable.
Also a visual and tactical designer that enjoys to be hands-on with textiles first
and through draping to find designs. I also aspire to design clothing that tell a
story through the emotions. Heavily inspired by nature that surrounds us and the natural
life cycle of living things. As I design with a constant reminder of being mindful
and conscious of the environment and the people it houses.
