Ben is the main character from my personal project, The junebug, a story about a young firework craftsman who stubbornly fights against the rise of new technology that threatens to replace the craft he dedicated his life to. He is designed with an oversized, ill fitting suit to reflect the heavy load of responsibility he places on his shoulders.Some images may be cropped. These are some of the designs for the towns people, mainly working in agriculture, their color palettes reflects this and are mainly earth toned. The patterns on their clothing are also inspired by Hungarian and Eastern European textiles.

BFA Game and Entertainment Design
Tarik is a Turkish character designer and story artist based in Los Angeles, California.
He is graduating from Otis College of Art and Design in Spring 2025 with a degree
in Game and Entertainment Design. Tarik specializes in dynamic character design and
storytelling, with a passion for creating original films and developing pitch decks
for future directing projects. He currently works as an Associate Programmer in the
Animation Department at the Southeast European Film Festival.
