SECTION I: Transferable Foundation (FNDT) Studio Courses
Otis College recommends sophomore transfer students match the Foundation Studio Curriculum as closely as possible. However, we generally accept 18 credits of art or design studio courses. Students must show a portfolio that demonstrates they are able to bypass the Foundation Year. Cerritos courses that are an ideal match to Otis College’s first-year Foundation Program are listed in the chart below.

SECTION II: Transferable Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) Courses
Otis College accepts a total of 24 Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) credits. For sophomore level transfer, 12 Credits of Liberal Arts and Sciences courses may include but are not limited to English Literature and Composition, Art History, Social Science, Natural Science and General Electives. Cerritos Courses that are an ideal match to Otis College’s first year are highlighted in bold in the chart below. Please note some majors have specific LAS requirements and are noted below.
