A Message from the Chair

Welcome to the 2026 MFA Graphic Design Final Show!

The Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design program is a collective of students, faculty, and international and local designers who come together to explore the central issues of our day. This exhibition represents not just the culmination of their time at Otis, but also marks the beginning of exciting new journeys for our graduates.

The theme of this year's show, Subtext lies beneath every act of communication: ideas that are unspoken, rewarding those who linger and investigate. There is always more than what first appears. The Otis College MFA Graphic Design class of 2026 has spent two years learning to work in that space, between what’s said and what’s meant. Researching, questioning, making, unmaking. Each designer engages with questions that define this moment. So look closer. Read deeper. The work here shifts the longer you stay with it. So stay with it.
