The BFA Fine Arts Department invites the Otis Community and the public to the 2022 graduating seniors' exhibition, MY POPSICLE STICK CAME WITH NO JOKE, on view in the Bolsky Gallery through December 10, 2021.
Below is the exhibition statement and the list of participating artists.
everybody is born once.
we age, to varying extents.
we usually die once too,
but i guess that depends on who you ask.
we are pubescent,
growing up and out of ourselves
from the moment we enter this world
and continue to do so after we leave it behind.
it’s so beautiful and horrible and lonely and lovely,
all tangled together at once.
a series of questions and jokes
we don’t always want or expect.
we rarely get the punchlines we hope to find,
but will continue to look for them.
