Bruce Talamon

The department of Fine Arts at Otis College of Art and Design is excited to host Bruce Talamon on Tuesday, March 28th! Join us in-person from 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. in the Forum for this special artist lecture and Q&A session.

Bruce Talamon has been a contract photographer for Time magazine and a contributing photographer for the Los Angeles Times and New York TimesPremiere, People, Rolling Stone, Hello, Paris Match, Vanity Fair, Ebony, and Jet magazines, and is the author of Bob Marley Spirit Dancer (WW Norton, NYC, 1994) and Soul R&B Funk Photographs 1972-1982 (Taschen, 2018).

He is best known for photographing R&B and soul musicians during the 1970s and 1980s, and for his editorial work as a contract and stills photographer.
