Aaron Philip Clark portrait

Aaron Philip Clark (’08 MFA Writing) will read and discuss his work. Clark is a native of Los Angeles. Winner of the 2021 Book Pipeline Adaptation Contest and an ITW Thriller Award-nominated mystery and crime novelist and screenwriter, he’s the author of the Detective Trevor Finnegan Series: Under Color of Law and Blue Like Me (forthcoming in November 2022), The Paul Little Series: The Science of Paul and A Healthy Fear of Man, as well as the novel The Furious Way. Clark has contributed to the anthologies Witnesses for the Dead, edited by Gary Phillips and Gar Anthony (forthcoming in November 2022), and Gary Phillips’ Hollis P.I. Clark is a graduate of Otis’s MFA Writing Program and teaches novel writing and crime fiction in the UCLA Extension Writer’s Program.
