Education:

Otis College of Art and Design

Bio/Affiliation:

A graduate of Otis' first Digital Media Design class in 2000, Pete represented the school as the major's first Senior Class Marshall. Working immediately upon graduation, Pete balanced a career as an artist in the game industry with freelance work outside of the industry, including commercial, short film and music video animation, as well as teaching at various colleges over the span of 20 years. During that time he shipped 10 game titles as well as completing freelance projects with major clients. Pete worked his way up to the Art Director level and helped to form Majesco Entertainment's internal game development studio. From there he created his own animation studio, Visual Symphony LLC, which included the NHL, the NFL, Stan Lee, Fox and Audi among their clients. Shuttering that company in 2013, Pete found a calling in action photography, where his past experiences as a participant helped him excel in shooting high school football games, concerts, Pow Wows ( Native American, NOT meetings, casual or otherwise), Spartan type mud runs, and surf contests (where he shoots from in the water). Recently Pete has worked under the DBA known as Have Blue Studios as a freelance animator, with an emphasis on product promotion and internal corporate videos. Outside of the industry, Pete is a full time dad and works part time in hockey operations at the Anaheim Ducks training facility. Pete also has a background in Wildland firefighting/EMS, and still works and volunteers events for the local parks and fire service. His hobbies include film, animation, fitness, swimming, mountain biking, martial arts, music (guitar, bass, keyboards), writing, personal artistic works, foam armor and props, and toy photography. Known for his love of Canadian Rock trio Rush, and the occasional conversation about Star Wars :)
