Hello, my name is Reshma Shinde a Graphic Designer graduating from Otis College of Art and Design in May 2020 with a Masters of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. My work spans from illustration, editorial design and digital design to branding. I am a huge fan of various printmaking and production techniques and Otis gave me the opportunity to learn all those. I love RISO, wish to have my own one day. Being an outsider, I have always preserved my past design experiences and this has helped my design to beautifully mold itself with these diverse cultural changes. I strongly believe in connections hence enjoy working in diverse teams, driven to realize a shared vision. I aspire to create crafted experiences and real connections for people through purposeful design.

The project was purely based on research and to design to collected data in the form of a text and an image reader which narrates the entire story of dark terrorism in Mumbai.

This is an immersive ins. The installation (Poster Room) highlights little, lesser known nuggets of life in these cities. Layered with video and audio content, this aims to give the audience an immersive experience of the environment. It is a view of a dense, complex and intricate web of systems; much like how we perceive 'nature' in it's original form. To us, this feels 'natural'.

A Publication based on the theme of Madhubani Paintings (an ancient Indian Painting style) a tool that empowered women in Rural India (Mithila a the state of Bihar). The cover of the book was self de bossed using a nipping press to show the invisibility of women in rural India and how they leave a mark in the male dominant society, method of bitmap was used to show the same for the inside images. The font used was Mrs. Eaves and the size of the book is 18*25cm. The color red signifies women in India in a lot of different aspects. The content was curated by me and structured as required to narrate the story.

An Infographics based on Educational Workshop (being in the art and design field this was modeled after gathering all the data related to the history of graphic design and different arts and craft movement as examples to explain the fundamentals of what an Educational Workshop is or should be).

This identity was designed with each letter in a square which represents 4 parts of our design practice these blocks form up to making them one.
Our practise is comprised of four components
1- to provide client based work
2- to conduct workshops
3- to facilitate distribution for various authors
4- to sell riso printed products on an online shop
