Box grew up on the east coast, but now resides in LA. Box Is a painter/installation/performance artist. Box spent his entire life working in the service industry, has been to prison, and was homeless, this is important to his practice because from that lens he explores topics like wealth inequality, material imperialism, mental health, substance abuse, homelessness and the banality and beauty of living a working class life.
