Caitlin advances through every added layer of paint - dedicating herself to the exploration of the medium. Her artwork represents her relationship to the world around her through an abstract lens. Caitlin employs color, texture, and shape to illustrate the connection between her surroundings and her internal musings. Caitlin’s practice is her method of both investigating her surroundings while also making a record of where she has been and what she has felt through the use of color. The elements and composition of her paintings are informed by the colors, textures, and charged energies that she collects through her lived experience.
