Alison SaarBen Maltz Gallery at Otis College of Art and Design is pleased to present the exhibition Centennial: 100 Years of Otis College Alumni, on view September 7 – December 7, 2019. An opening reception will take place Saturday, September 7, from 5-8pm, open and free to the public.

Talking to Action: Art, Pedagogy, and Activism in the Americas, is an exhibition and bilingual publication that investigates contemporary, community-based social art practices in the Americas. Talking to Action is part of the Getty’s initiative Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, a far-reaching and ambitious exploration of Latin American and Latino art in dialogue with Los Angeles.

'Grid' Featured in Frieze Magazine's Critic's Guide for Los Angeles

Curator Kate McNamara’s inaugural exhibition at Otis College’s Ben Maltz Gallery references the modernist interest in the grid as a map of time, movement and sound. It also showcases a number of contemporary artists who utilize it as a performative strategy.
