Hello, my name is Ezequiel “Z” Villegas, and I am a Designer graduating from Otis College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Toy Design. In my time at Otis College, I learned how to use my skills to design for others and myself. I have developed my professional background through an internship and freelance work from various companies. As a Toy Designer, I work with the future of fun in mind and have my eyes and ears open to the world for inspiration. I am self-motivated, adaptive, and a great team player. I love art and engineering and believe toys are the perfect fusion of the two, and I aim to create products that will inspire future generations.

The Dark Crystal: Roads of Rebellion positioning statement

The character SkekNa is a villain in the Dark Crystal series most notably in the 1982 film. I choose to portray him as a younger more intense character with Motorcycle which is a dungeon on wheels.

SkekCycle Vehicle sculpted and painted in Zbrush and rendered in Keyshot. I focused on matching styling cues from the world of the dark crystal and added an aggressive twist.

SkekNa action figure and SkeKcycle Together, the figure would be 6 “and the vehicle about 13”. Both Sculpted and painted in Zbrush and rendered in Keyshot.

The Cuddly Krpytkid Pat. He is inspired by the well-known cryptid Bigfoot. I based the play on a nurturing play pattern like feeding and potty training. He also has the means to throw a little tantrum
