Hi! My legal name is Gina Louise Mendoza my preferred name is "Gvokx" pronounced "Guy-Vox," and my pronouns are they/them. I am 31 years old. I am a Digital Media major with emphasis in Game and Entertainment Design: Concept Art and minors in Communication Arts: Illustration and Graphic Design. I am a Graduating Senior of the Class of 2020 with an BFA degree from Otis College of Art and Design.
In addition, I am also a highly experienced digital artist and fine artist in traditional mediums: painting, sculpting, drafting, illustrating, and drawing. I am also an amatuer fashion designer and product designer.
Introduction: I am that I am GVOKX the artist, studying and creating artworks at Otis. I am a polymath universal artist: I am a jack of all trades and a master of all arts. In the Fall I will be immediately continuing into the MFA program in Graphic Design at Otis.
My Origins: I am ethnicity Eurasian (Mixed) or I am a Hapa-American, paternal-side: I am half European Caucasian (Spanish, German, and French) and maternal-side I am half Asian: Chinese. I identify as diverse ethnically as well as gender and sexual orientation, I am asexual androgynous-transgender male. In Addition I was raised on all Asian culture especially Japanese culture with history, people, movies, dramas, traditional arts, & contemporary arts: anime, music, fashion, etc....
