Brianna Bening is a designer, fashion illustrator, and denim specialist. Brianna is a knowledgable and highly qualified leader with a demonstrated track record of building global brands with extensive experience in denim design and a personal interest in producing collections with sustainability in mind.

  • Jan 2022-Present, Teaching Associate/Fashion Illustration, Otis College of Art and Design 
    • Supports the Senior Illustration Lecturer for Sophomore and Junior levels. Contributes to the instruction of how to draw and render various fashion poses, silhouettes, design flats, croqui templates, shapes, and fabrics.

  • April 2017-Present, Owner and Design Consultant, Industry Design Studio 
    • Built a consulting business specializing in building brand identity, establishing infrastructure, and laying the foundational blocks to set up brands for success.

  • Dec 2015-April 2017, Co-Founder and Creative Director, Core Denim Co. 
    • Owner, Founder, and Creative Director of Core Denim Co., a premium denim brand focused on high-quality fits crafted for the athletic build. The collection took a revolutionary approach to designing and fitting denim.

  • Jan 2013-Dec 2016, Co-Founder and Designer, Capital Blue, LLC.
    • Built a consulting business that managed the end-to-end process from concept and development through production. Directed overall development process and established a strong foundation that fits within the client's vision.

    • Played a major role in each season’s creation and development. Designed denim & handwoven styles into the company SKU plan. Contributed to the development of seasonal mood, color, and key concepts.
