Offsite tours and field trips provide students with a hands-on learning experience that leaves a lasting impression. Each year students benefit from visiting museums, costume exhibits, movie studios, dye houses, and fabric stores, to acquire a deeper understanding of the fashion industry and engage with content in a variety of ways.
Universal Studios Lot
The juniors on the Universal mentor team learned how to format and submit graphic artwork and created textiles printed with custom graphics, through a sponsorship with Mimaki Global, a leading Japanese manufacturer of industrial printers. The team at Mimaki educated the student on the printing process and the lastest sustainable opportunities in sublimation textile printing.
