Overview
Otis Design Lab was asked to design patterns inspired by the Huntington’s gardens and collections to be wrapped onto electric shuttles used to transport guests.
Process
The designers began with a site visit at the Huntington, where they took photos, sketched, and took a tour of the gardens. Inspiration came from the plants and animals they saw, and the interactions of the guests with the environment. Five different designs were approved, and the students were recognized by name on each shuttle!
